Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Silt Wine Company in Clarksburg, California.
Clarksburg is located on the Sacramento River, 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento. Clarksburg is known for beautiful landscapes, country roads, delta breezes, historic farms, and quaint wineries.
Silt Wine Co. is a private venue and not open to the public; Their tasting room is by appointment only and cannot accommodate early wedding guest arrivals for wine tastings.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by February 04, 2023 using the RSVP section of this website. Please contact us if you cannot RSVP online or have any questions. We’d love to know if you can make it (we hope you can!).

What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a plus-one or family?
Yes! We just ask that you add attending guests and/or family members to your RSVP. If you are unsure, please contact us. We did our best to plan for anticipated guests and plus-ones.

Are kids welcome?
We trust parents with young children will know best if they and their little ones will comfortably enjoy this event and venue together. No childcare or child-specific activities or meals are arranged. Please let us know if more information would be helpful.

Are there other events I can attend?
Yes! We want to spend as much time with you as possible, so the night before (which is March 17th – St. Patrick’s Day) we are hosting a welcome party and rehearsal dinner at Urban Roots in Sacramento. All who are in town are welcome to attend! Please let us know when you RSVP if you plan to join us on Friday evening for dinner, drinks, desserts, and good times. Casual Attire.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
According to the internet: “The average temperature in Clarksburg in March for a typical day ranges from a high of 66°F (19°C) and a low of 44°F (7°C). Some would describe it as moderately chilly with a gentle breeze.” Temperatures tend to dip a bit at night and heaters are arranged to help keep us warm, if needed.

What should I wear?
The event is semi-formal. If you want to be extra about it, then go ahead! Most importantly, we want you to be comfortable.
The parking lot is unpaved, and the ceremony will take place on the lawn so please bear this in mind when choosing footwear. Clarksburg experiences cool breezes at this time of year and a light jacket or layers are recommended.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Please plan to arrive between 4:30 pm and 4:45 pm. The ceremony begins at 5:00 pm. Also, there isn’t a “side” to sit on at the ceremony; we are combining families so sit on whatever side you like!

Is there parking at the venue?
Yes. There is free and ample parking at the venue.

Will transportation be provided?
We are not providing any formal transportation for the event, but our ceremony and reception are taking place in the same location. There is convenient parking for those who feel comfortable driving, and Lyft or Uber are options for those who don’t. We recommend scheduling your Lyft or Uber pick up in advance to ensure availability. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The reception will be indoors, with outdoor access. The venue has fully equipped restrooms available from all locations. In the event of rain, all events will be indoors.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Feel free to take pictures and post anything you want from the reception. We kindly ask that guests refrain from using cameras or phones during the ceremony; We want to see your beautiful faces as much as possible and not the back of your phones. We will happily share professional ceremony images with you after the wedding.

Will there be an open bar?
Wine and beer are hosted all night and there is no need to bring cash for bar service. We are pleased to serve Silt Wine Company red and white wines, sparkling wine, domestic, imported, and specialty beers, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages to our guests. Outside alcohol and hard liquor are prohibited on the property.

Will food be served at the reception? What kind of food?
We will be serving passed hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by full course dinner and delicious desserts during the reception.

Where are you registered?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. Seriously! However, for those who have expressed an interest, we have registered online for honeymoon experiences, linked on this website.
